One of the keys to lasting success in your career is to use your preferred skills. This workshop will help you understand your skills and competencies: the transferability fo existing skills; identify skills to develop; acquire language for leveraging skills; and increased self-awareness and self-esteem. Refund deadline June 5, 2009.
Judith Brinton-Bleak, manager and administrator for the Women's Opportunities Center, UC Irvine Extension, plans the programs and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Career Life Planning Program. She holds a BA from Whittier College and Masters Degrees in Business and Mangement from Webster University. She spent twenty years as a teacher and twenty years as a manager with Federal Express Corporation.
Judy's mid-life career change fostered a passion for helping others navigate their transitions in life. In addition to her position at teh Women's Opportunities Center she is studying gerontology and teaching older adults for Santiago Canyon College in Orange, CA. She has served as a Success Coach for Working Wardrobes to prepare their clients for successful transition into the working world.
